Active Transportation

Posted on Wednesday, October 03 , 2012    Category: Fitness

The day encourages parents and students to find safe routes to walk or bike to school, encouraging fitness and cleaner air. (Oh, how good it feels to exercise before going to school or work!) While it’s not always possible to walk to school—or to work—the day reminds us to use our legs whenever we can as a way of getting around. For more information, go to www.WalkBikeToSchool.org.
