Need a Break? Go for an Amble

The next time you find yourself with a little time on your hands, whether it’s 10 minutes or four hours, why not take an aimless walk, otherwise known as an amble? The word itself says it all—an amble is an easy, leisurely walk with no particular destination in mind. You can do it in the country, town or city. You might not know exactly where you are or what you will find—and that’s the charm! When you least expect it, you will come upon something that truly surprises or delights you—a vista…a shop…or a stone wall on which to sit and relax.
