Notice what it feels like to have a long spine…no tension in your shoulders…and abdominal muscles that are engaged. Take a few breaths in this position and relax, without slumping. See how alert and energized you now feel. Remember to sit tall throughout the day whenever you need a little boost (you might be surprised to find how much you slump)—it will help your body and your brain!
